Bizhan Meets Manizheh - Écharp

Story:
There was a beautiful garden in Turan where many angel faced damsels live. When Manizheh, Afrasiyab's daughter, was visiting the garden, asked her lady in hand to find out who the moon like visage under the cypress tree was.
Could it be Siyavash come back to life, or was it peri? The woman approched Bizhan the brave warrior and passed on Manizhe's message.

When the fair one saw
The visage of the chieftain from her tent
The cheeks as 'twere Canopus of Yaman,
Or jasmine blossoming mid violets
While on his head he wore the crown that marked
Achief of paladins, and all his breath
Blazed with brocade of Rum, the maiden yearned
For love of him, who came in quest of love,
And sent her nurse as envoy, saying thus:
"Go'neath the boughs of yonder lofty cypress,
And find out who he is - yon moonlike one."
